Welcome to the Indiana University Smoking Attitudes Study.
- In the next half hour, you will do a computer task and answer some questions.
- There are no right or wrong answers; all we want are your honest opinions.
This study is meant to be completed in a single session.
- If you log off before that (or if you lose your internet connection) you can log back on and start again, but you will need to re-do the computer task.
Instructions:
- This study is for you to complete by yourself.
- Please try to have as few distractions and as much privacy as possible.
- Do not have any other programs running while you complete the study.
- Turn off instant messenger and call waiting while you are doing this study.
Technical Issues:
- Are you using AOL 6.0 or higher? If so, you may need to change a setting on your browser.
- If you are using the Safari web browser on a Macintosh computer, you must use version 1.2 or later.
- This study will appear in a pop-up window. If you have "pop-up" blocking software, please disable it.
- If you have problems running the software at this site, downloading Macromedia's Flash may improve performance.
- Do you have text and background color overrides on your browser? If you do please turn them off.
Payment:
Once we have received your data, we will process your payment. At the end of the session, we will ask you for some information so that we can send your payment. Please allow 6 weeks for it to arrive.
